I am a really lucky person.
I come from an amazing family.
I believe in what's true.
I make movies.
I've had experiences and opportunities that have allowed me to come to this conclusion tonight:
It's all about coming together and working towards the same goal. In order for anything to happen everybody needs to trust each other, understand the full picture, you make it work, and then BOOM you've got something. It makes me sad when people are afraid to work hard and trust in each other. I don't know what it stems from, because it is everywhere. We all need to get out of this funk. We need to stop it! I know I've been afraid, lately I've decided it isn't worth it. It gets exhausting, and life isn't fun. Sure, I'll probably make mistakes, but who cares? As long as you know you have the right people around you who will always give you advice and keep trucking with you until the end then you're okay.
Let's keep pushing ourselves everybody. It's hard, but in the end it is worth it. Find your people, it might take longer than you think, but once you've found them don't let go. It'll be a fun ride, I promise.

The last 6.5 weeks
I've been in London.
On the first BYU Film study abroad, and it has been quite the experience.
We gave presentations in our class about what we learned and took away from all of it. I had written a few things down, and didn't really have my thoughts completely collected, but I got up there and I think it went well.
I wish I had recorded it, because right now I can't remember everything that I said...I guess that is what happens when you don't really prepare. I do remember some things, well one thing in particular.
LONDON is a very full place. Dean Duncan and Tom Russell our program directors did an amazing job at taking us to right places, and guiding everything in order for us to make connections. So, we basically saw everything without having to see every detail. We skimmed the surface, but we were still able to talk about the deep roots of London, and Europe in general. It was really great, and I am not the greatest words on paper, because I don't often communicate everything the way I'd like it to be understood? (Wow. That was a good sentence)
I was talking with Mallory Everton who was on the study abroad too, and we both felt that living in London didn't change us as people, because we are still the same, and will go back to Provo and fall into our habits again. I don't think that is a bad thing at all. Rather than this trip being life changing, it was very life enhancing, because it helped me see my potential as a human being, and as a filmmaker. I am leaving with so many more tools, and perspectives which is great for where I am in my life, as I prepare to finish my undergrad at BYU in Media Arts. I have a clearer idea as to what I want to leave BYU with and as, so get ready to have your socks knocked off.
I don't know if any of that makes sense... I bet it was full of misspellings and grammatical errors. We aren't all perfect...right?

Oh, and I am going to London in June.

Now, I need to pass Stats.

Hey everybody!
I'm still alive, and breathing.
Today, I watched a hilarious episode of Modern Family. I know not everybody is a fan, but last night's episode was top notch!
It's December 8, and I have a few more things to do before I can officially relax before finals.

Rosy Cheeks
Somehow (almost) every time I work on a student film project my face gets flushed.
Examples below.
Also, I like to wear that plaid shirt with a white v-neck.

Writing and stuff.
So,
I haven't been doing my best at this blog thing. Probably for many reasons, but one that comes to mind is that I have been writing, but not on my blog (obvs). I'm actually taking a beginning screenwriting at the BY this Fall, and I am really loving it. I spent my morning working on the first draft of my script. It wasn't very good, and I'm looking forward to the feedback sesh in class. Writing takes so much time, and effort and ENERGY. I woke up at 7 or something, and then I took a 15 minute nap from 9:16-9:31 (math?). Then I was able to finish about an hour after that. Holla. Go cat naps.
I figured out what I will be for Halloween, which is major progress. I'm gonna be a robot. Beep bope beep bap beeop bleep blop boop.
And, yesterday I was on the set of Dr. Fubalous a web series some pals of mine are shooting. They've got a really great cast, and I got to see Jon Gries again! He's the nicest guy, really. Some of the supporting roles are played by YouTube comediennes - GloZell Green, Colleen Ballinger who plays MirandaSing08. They have Flavor Flav as a lead, and Donnivin Jordan as the star. It's gonna be great.
I did some laundry and put in too much cleaner and now my clothes smell really fresh. I haven't decided if it is bothering me or not.
Happy Halloween.
