Well,

it was Tuesday.  The day after MLK Jr. Day.  I haven't done many things.

I did do one thing...I reserved equipment. Word.

AND

I decided. Starting Feb 5 through the rest of the Black History Month we will be having a film viewing party in celebration of our great African-American friends. NO lie.

Tentative schedule as follows:

February 5 - "Lean on Me."
February 12 - DOUBLE FEATURE "Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All Myself" "Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail" (It may or may not be a double feature)
February 19 - TBD. "Glory Road" or "Remember the Titans"
February 26 - "GLORY" - JK. I really don't want to end it with that one. Still trying to find a good film to end with. Suggestions would be great!

A planned "impromptu dance party" will commence after the viewing or films have finished.

Still figuring out the minor details.

Have a happy Wednesday.

Have you thought about Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? Oh, that Sidney Poitier.

Amistad, perhaps? Not a great movie but good enough, I thought.

I do think Glory is a fantastic movie, but it's both gory and a bit of a downer.

I thought of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner as well (not that I've ever seen it - must do that one of these days).
