Park City trip

Myself, BK, Pappadukes, and Mammadukes went up to the PC last evening.

It was really nice to get out of the P-town for a little bit, and it made me never want to take small children on the slopes.

Anyways, we went to go see Brian Kershisnik's opening for 2011, and boy was it marvelous.  I wish I could spend my days in a room full of his artwork.  Absolutely splendid.  Turns out a doc about Brian will be available come Spring.  Will I own that?  Yes I will.

His art is just amazing, and does wonders for the soul.  It was just what I needed.  Plus, all the people who were in the gallery weren't high-society people.  Just regulars.

The best part was that BK, and I convinced the Parentdukes to buy a Kershisnik drawing.

So, now we have a drawing, "Nice Words."

I just went to his website to see if he has posted any of the artwork that was there last night, and I did see a few, but none of my favorites were there.  One painting, "Little Victories,"  and a series called "Unfinished Loves" or Love? Gah, can't remember.  All were fabulous.

If you ever have the chance to see his piece "Nativity" I highly recommend that you do so.

Keep it up, Mr. K.
